Lambda Epsilon Chapter at Case Western University

Sisterhood

My name is Gianna Madaio and I have the privilege of serving as President of the Lambda
Epsilon Chapter
of Alpha Gamma Delta. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and
checkout our webpage to learn more about Alpha Gam!

When I arrived at Case Western my freshman year, I struggled to find a strong support system
and quickly decided joining a sorority would be a “must.” From the moment I met Alpha Gam, I
had a feeling that was the place for me, and looking back I could not be prouder to call Alpha
Gam my home. My time in our chapter has entirely defined my college experience. I don’t know
who I would be if I had not joined Alpha Gam, but I know I wouldn’t be half the woman I am
today.

I joined Alpha Gam through extension, and after every conversation with an alumna I thought to
myself, “That is who I want to be in 4 years.” Alpha Gam has a way of encouraging women to be the best version of themselves; I believe this is due to loving, diverse, and empowering community that we
foster. I know my sisters have pushed me to be better every day and that has led me to where I am today.

Not only has Alpha Gam helped my personal development, but I have learned quite a bit about
friendship. When I am with my sisters, I feel like I am “sparkling.” I can truly be myself and do
not doubt or question that for a second. This is a lesson that my sisters have taught me, and one
that I have been able to apply in all of my relationships. The best friendships are the ones in which
you can all shine together.

I encourage you to explore our website and other social media to catch a glimpse into the sisterhood we share here at Lambda Epsilon!

Loyally,
Gianna Madaio
